I was born and raised in Long Island, New York (as if you wouldn't know after our first conversation). I was brought up in the office furniture, commercial industry in New York City and studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology for Interior Design.
It seemed the business had caught my attention, but I was always looking for more creativity. Doing commercial design gave me the technical ability along with practical design sense, but I needed more.
After working in commercial design for 15 years and upon getting married to Michael, we decided to open a retail home furnishing store. In 1995, we opened Ambiente in Branford, CT and for 10 years, we enjoyed all aspects of owning a small business and being a part of a small shoreline community. We currently live in Branford and continue to enjoy working in the community and surrounding areas.
Raised in New England, I was exposed to interior design, architecture, and fine art from a young age. I studied design at Paier College of Art, and studied fine art in Paris at Fontainebleau School of Art and Music.
Throughout my career, I have worked on projects of various sizes, scope, and style. I have experience working on projects from Florida to New York and New England, commercial as well as residential.
